On 9th May 2019, Cytonn Asset Managers Limited (CAML), the regulated affiliate of Cytonn Investments Management Plc, held a Sacco’s Training at their offices at The Chancery. The training aimed at educating Sacco officials on ways that they could maximize returns for their members.

Participants were taught how to maximize their returns by investing in alternative investments. The key alternative investments options discussed during the training were structured products, real estate and public markets.

Mr. Manyatta Wanjau, Chairman – Nyeri Teachers’ Investments Company shared on the success of their partnership with Cytonn Investments. “We started investing with Cytonn, four years ago, as we wanted to maximize returns for our members. Given the good returns we have received over the years, our Sacco has grown from 450 members 4 years ago, to 706 members today.” Mr. Wanjau highlighted.

Afterwards, Elizabeth Nkukuu, Chief Investments Officer, gave a brief introduction of Cytonn Investments and said “When looking for a Sacco to save with, members also look for one that gives good dividends. By investing your members’ contributions in investment products with high stable returns you are able to meet their expectations.”

Thereafter, Maurice Oduor, Principle Officer – Cytonn Asset Managers, explained about the different types of investment options and their benefits.

After the training session, the attendees got a chance to network.
